Line-Haul Tug Sigrid Dunlap Enters Service

Designed by HWMA for Dunlap Towing, the 121.5′ x 38.0′ Sigrid Dunlap is ABS Classed for line haul service. Main propulsion is provided by twin CAT C175-16 engines rated at 2,675 bhp/each driving 120″ diameter propellers through a Nautican Integrated Propulsion Unit (IPU). This state-of-the-art tug is equipped with a Markey TDSDS-36 towing winch for stern towing and a Markey DESW-32-20 electric hawser winch.  The tug was built by Hansen Boat Company for delivery mid-2018.
