130.6′ x 41.5′ Trawler, Evening Star Fisheries
Fishing Vessel Rebuilding Project: Originally built as a 114’ x 30’ Fishing Vessel at Hansen Boat Builders in 1975. The vessel was heavily damaged and a major vessel rebuild project was completed in 2019 at Fred Wahl Marine Construction, which included the following changes:
- Molded breadth of hull increased from 30’ to 41.5’
- Vessel length was increased from 114’ to 130.6’
- Sponson, mid-body insert, and Bulbous Bow additions to the hull
- New Hockema designed two level deckhouse added
- New freestanding mast added
- Fish hold capacity increased from 7,700 cubic feet to 12,400 cubic feet
- Updated Stability Booklet was provided
