270′ x 44′ Factory Trawler; Trident Seafoods
Originally built as a 217’ x 44’ hydrographic survey vessel at Burton Shipyard Incorporated in 1977 as the M/V Grant Neptune. The vessel was converted to a Factory Trawler in 1989 at Bender Shipbuilding. Hockema has provided engineering and support to Trident Seafoods on several projects:
- Various maintenance engineering projects including stability, tonnage & miscellaneous structural projects
- Major structural retrofit for extended service life (2015)
- Steering gear retrofit to Van der Velden system (2015)
- Updated Stability book
